Auggie aka Bandit is the Salvation Kings’ treasurer and hacker, and with half the former Henchmen now on their side, he has much to do. Russell, one of the Henchmen, is staying with the Kings as a liaison between their clubs. Russell is the kind of man Auggie wants but needs to stay away from. There’s something about the man that draws him in and, as much as Russell scares him, he also makes him feel safe and seen. His attraction to Russell is strong, but acting on it means trusting the man and sharing parts of himself he’s kept hidden for years.
Everything changed for Russell ‘Skinner’ Jones when he left the Henchmen with Ares, and he knows starting over won’t be easy. They’re lucky to have the Kings by their side and there’s one King in particular who has caught his eye. One look at the small skittish man, and he knows he needs to find a way to earn Auggie’s trust. Auggie has been hurt in a way that’s left him with deep emotional scars, but that doesn’t stop Russell from wanting him. It only makes him that much more determined to prove that he’s worthy of Auggie.
Can Russell keep Auggie safe when the monster from Auggie’s past comes looking for him?

I enjoyed the cat and mouse game between Russell and Auggie. Russel was sweet, patient and determined to get what he wanted. Auggie was adorable regardless of whether he was glaring daggers at Russell or blushing from the sweet/sexy compliments he received from Russell.
Auggie and Russell were beautiful together; their passion, hunger and need burned through the pages.
Russell’s family were crazy but badass and I enjoyed the moments, where they made an appearance.
Characters from previous books made an appearance too and it was nice to see that their love was stronger than ever.
I loved Auggie and Russell’s story, it was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. Fantastic addition to a wonderful, gripping yet sexy series that always leaves me wanting more.
